Publications: Celina Realuyo

Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo wrote a white paper on "Combating Terrorist Financing in the Gulf: Significant Progress but Risks Remain" published by the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington. In this article she discusses steps the Gulf countries have taken stem the flow of funds to terrorist groups over the past decade. She explains that Gulf states will play a critical role on the military, ideological and financial fronts of the campaign to degrade and destroy these groups. She notes that these states have made substantial strides in protecting their financial systems but that risks and vulnerabilities to terrorist financing remain.
